Fred JR Portable Fume Extractor
Keeping your worker’s breathing zone safe requires a capture-at-source extractor they will actually use. Designed to be moved and positioned effortlessly, the FRED-JR excels at removing weld fumes, dusts, and other airborne contaminants as small as 0.5 micron with a standard nanofiber filter.
Maintenance of the Fred Jr's filter cartridge is clean and easy since operators are not exposed to airborne dust from blowing the filers clean. The unit is designed to collect particles on the inside of the cartridge, allowing operators to clean the filters with compressed air without creating a dust cloud in your facility.
The capture arm's external articulation protects the arm's components from wear and tear, as smoke and dust passes through the arm without contacting the swivel and pivot points of the supporting structure. The high suction and capture velocity developed by the Fred JR alows operators to capture and filter dust and fumes further away from the hood than competitive models.

3.0 HP High-Static Motor Blower [230/460/575V 3PH]
Substantially increasing the unit's face-velocity, we recommend upgrading to a high-static motor whenever using a HEPA filter, Odor Absorption Kit, or application demanding intense extraction.
13ft Extended Capture Arm
This unit can be fitted with a 13’ capture arm permitting a larger field of protection with little reduction in airflow.
Odor Absorption Kits
Choose from light, medium, or heavy duty carbon-activated odor absorption kits when extracting gases and vapors. Odor Absorption kits will reduce face velocity.
Compact and easy to read, this differential pressure gauge indicates when the filter is becoming loaded and requires service.
Nanofiber filters are excellent at retaining high-flow rates while trapping particulates as small as 0.5 microns. Better dust shedding helps filters last longer and easier to service.
High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) filters use ultra-fine glass fibers to capture more than 99.7% of contaminates at 0.3 micros.
Spunbond Polyester Filter Cartridge
Spunbond Polyester filters work well for capturing oily fumes and are washable in water. Rated to 99.7% @ 0.5 microns, these filters are an ideal upgrade.
